Editorial Policy of the Journal

The editorial policy of the journal “Political Expertise: POLITEX” is determined by the endeavor to ensure cooperation between Russian and foreign scientists, creative communication and consolidation, stimulating theoretical understanding of the most important problems of modern political science and the development of a wide range of interdisciplinary research.

The journal publishes the works of representatives of various scientific schools and areas devoted to current aspects of the history of political thought, political philosophy, political ethics, political theory and methodology, political anthropology, theory of world politics and international relations, ethnic and linguistic politics, political conflictology, political communication, political economy, political management, comparative, empirical and applied political research.

The journal reflects fully modern trends in the development of political science in the world and presents an impartial scientific assessment of modern political processes and problems. The publication of research materials is carried out in the form of thematic articles and essays, critical reviews, bibliographic surveys. The materials of scientific conferences, symposia and round tables are also published.

The Editorial Council and the Editorial Board of the journal are guided in their activities by the principles of scientific objectivity, professionalism, information support of the most significant innovative research. The editorial policy of the journal is carried out in accordance with the legal rules on copyright and plagiarism, as set out in the legislation of the Russian Federation. It is based on traditional ethical principles formulated by the Ethics Committee for Scientific Publications (Russia) and enshrined in the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
