ДОНАЛЬД ТРАМП, НОВЫЙ АВТОРИТАРИЗМ И ДИЛЕММЫ АМЕРИКАНСКОГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ

В рецензии на две монографии видного американского ученого, одного из наиболее известных современных представителей западной «критической теории», Анри А. Жиру раскрываются основные аспекты критики авторитарных тенденций в политике США в последнее десятилетие XXI в. В этих работах весьма рельефно обрисовываются образы надвигающегося кошмара и фашистской угрозы. Будучи крупным специалистом в области образования, образовательной политики и технологий, А. Жиру уделяет наибольшее внимание тем угрозам, которые, как ему представляется, могут окончательно уничтожить традиции либерального школьного и университетского образования, формировавшиеся на протяжении нескольких веков и представленные в ХХ в. такими блестящими теоретиками, как Джон Дьюи и Мортимер Адлер. Характеризуя причины кризиса американского общества и государственных институтов, А. Жиру, подобно многим радикальным представителям критического направления социально-политического анализа, постоянно использует понятие «неолиберальный фашизм», в том числе для характеристики процессов в сфере образования и педагогики. Размышления А. Жиру о формировании неолиберального фашизма в США можно рассматривать как некий авторский комментарий к анализу тех многообразных террористических угроз, источником которых являются не столько атаки исламских экстремистов, сколько стремление американских правящих кругов закрепить практики террора в структурах политических и социальных институтов. Подчеркивается, что в западной политической науке со второй половины ХХ в. и вплоть до наших дней анализ образовательной политики отмечен чертами глубокого скепсиса в отношении возможностей политических лидеров и общественных институтов осуществлять реформы в образовательной сфере. Основная надежда возлагается на сопротивление снизу и связана с уверенностью в том, что школам и университетам в конечном счете удастся сохранить свой потенциал в качестве последних бастионов критической мысли в США.
